Coast (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the Coast mobile application and visit our website.

Coast is designed to work primarily on your device. The information you choose to enter in the app may include tasks, notes, schedule entries, self-reported energy, stress, and motivation levels, as well as app preferences and basic settings.
This information is stored locally on your device and is used only to support the core functionality of the app.
When you visit our website, limited non-personal information may be automatically collected, such as device type and browser, approximate location (city/region), pages visited, and basic interaction data. This information is used for basic analytics and site performance improvements only.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used only to provide and improve the Coast app experience, help generate realistic daily plans based on your inputs, maintain app performance and stability, and respond to questions or support messages if you contact us.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
- All task and energy-related data is stored locally on your device by default.
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not store your personal information on our own servers.
- If you delete the app, your local app data is removed from your device.
- We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
4. Third-Party Services
Coast may use limited third-party services that are necessary for core functionality, such as Apple App Store services for purchases or downloads, Apple analytics tools if enabled by the user, and payment processing handled by Apple.
These services may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Coast does not integrate with third-party advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not display ads in the app.
5. Health Data
- If Coast uses Apple Health data, it does so only with your permission and solely to enhance your personal planning experience inside the app.
- Health data is never sold or shared.
- Health data is never used for advertising.
- Health access is optional and can be turned off at any time in your device settings.
6. Children’s Privacy
Coast is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.
Continued use of Coast after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
